Will keep national interest at center with regard to MCC, says Unified Socialist Chair Nepal
KATHMANDU: Chairperson of CPN-Unified Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the delegation of US Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to make clear the negative comments raised in regard to MCC among Nepalis. Nepal said so at a meeting with the Vice President of MCC of Compact Operations Fatema Z. Sumar Thursday. On the occasion, former Prime Minister Nepal urged Fatema to further clarify the concerns as issues have been raised about MCC citing it was not in the national interests.
