Food grains transported to Humla

DHANGADHI: A total of 78 quintals of food grains have been transported to Limi at Namkha Rural Municipality-6.
Limi is located in the remote northern belt of Humla district. Transportation of rice began via Nepali Army helicopter since Monday, said Chief District Officer Ganesh Acharya, adding that the people in Limi were in imminent threat of hunger because the Hilsa border point linked to China was closed for two years.
The food grains have been taken to Limi via Simkot and Hilsa. Limi would get 502 quintals of rice, he added.
