SC orders to implement rights for Dalits

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday issued an order in the name of the government to ensure rights for Dalits, which is the fundamental right, as stated in Article 40 of the Constitution of Nepal and make short-term, mid-term and long-term plans within three months.
A division bench of Justices Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattarai and Prakash Kumar Dhungana gave the order in the name of the government and the federal parliament to effectively implement the plan by making needed mechanisms within three months.
