Rs 1.4 billion for transitional justice

KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 1.40 billion for transitional justice.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 in the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma informed that Rs 1.40 billion has been allocated for the transitional justice for the fiscal year 2079/07.
He also added that the government is committed to complete the remaining work of the peace process by amending the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act through policy and program as per the decision of the apex court.
