Tara Air crash: Mortal remains of 10 casualties brought to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The mortal remains of 10 passengers’ onboard the Tara Air aircraft that crashed in Mustang on Sunday have been brought to Kathmandu.
The bodies were initially taken to Kobang of Mustang from the accident site situated at an altitude of 14,500 ft at the base of Manapathi peak and were flown to Kathmandu via Pokhara on a Nepali Army helicopter.
The mortal remains will be taken to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem and will be handed over to relatives, who were at Tribhuvan International Airport when the bodies were brought.
