Govt revises hierarchy; former king placed sixth

KATHMANDU: The government is making preparations to change the hierarchy of dignitaries of the country.
The hierarchy is being worked out under the direction of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand.
For the first time, teachers have been included in the hierarchy. Similarly, the staff working in the Provincial Assembly Secretariat has also been placed in the hierarchy for the first time.
According to ministry sources, the former king has also been included in the hierarchy. The incumbent President and Vice President are ranked first and second respectively.
