President Bhandari grants amnesty to 681 prisoners
KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has granted amnesty to 681 prisoners completing the specified sentence and whose jail term remains to be over. The amnesty was granted on the occasion of the Constitution Day-2079 BS which falls on September 19 this year. President Bhandari gave amnesty to these convicts on the recommendation of the cabinet meeting held on September 16, according to the Office of President, Sheetal Niwas.
