Police choose firing after demonstrators invade prohibited area in Dhangadhi

KATHMANDU: The Police took to eight rounds of aerial fire and tear gas in Dhangadhi to disperse the crowd after the students protested in an area prohibited by the local administration.
The students dispersed after the firing. The students protested after the death of Chetna Saud, a 16-year-old girl studying in Panchodaya High School was killed by a grader on Thursday.
Chetna Saud, a class 8 student of Panchodaya Secondary School in Dhangadhi, was crushed to death by a grader during road construction at 10 am on Thursday. Her body is now kept in the mortuary of Seti Provincial Hospital.
