Nepal sees 44 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours
KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 44 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday. Of the confirmed cases today, 35 were detected through the RT-PCR method and nine from the antigen method. Meanwhile, Kathmandu district recorded 9 new cases, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur registered two new cases each, taking Kathmandu Valley’s total to 13. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the country witnessed one coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours.
