UML wins majority seats in Biratnagar metropolis Executive Committee
KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has won the majority of seats in election to the Municipal Executive Committee in Biratnagar Metropolitan City. The alliance of the 43 UML local representatives and three independently-elected representatives0 secured the most executive member posts in the 29-member Executive Committee in metropolis on Saturday, regardless of the fact that the ruling coalition parties had 50 elected representatives as voters.
