NEPSE falls by 5.87 points after rising consecutively for past eight days
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has lost nominal 5.87 points on Thursday after the market saw upward trend for the past eight days. The index that opened at 2052.95 points at the start of trading hours today (Thursday) made an intraday low of 2,038.33, intraday high of 2,066.07, and ultimately closed at 2,044.72 points. A total of 3,908,395 shares of 225 companies traded hands via 27,522 transactions resulting in daily turnover of 1.64 billion. The turnover the preceding day was Rs 1.73 billion.
