Former captain Paras Khadka announces retirement from int’l cricket

KATHMANDU: Former captain of Nepali national cricket team Paras Khadka has announced retirement from the international cricket.

Posting a Twitter message on Tuesday morning, Khadka has informed that he is no longer playing in the international cricket matches.

Khada, who has been involved in the Nepali national cricket team, for more than one and a half-decade, had retired as the team’s captain two years ago.

He took charge as the captain since 2009 and retired from the responsibility on October 15, 2019.

He has also announced retirement from the international cricket.

Khadka, who debuted in the international cricket in 2004 representing Nepal, played a significant role in achieving ODI status for Nepal.
